On September 8, COAL GARDEN Archive of Memory Plants, solo exhibition, opens at @kuehlhausberlinofficial
The secret garden brings together a series of charcoal drawings of flowers and plants. Charcoal begins with something living: a branch, a stem, a tree. Then burnt and transformed, it returns to paper to become a plant once again.
The works move between growth and disappearance, memory and renewal. Alexander sees this exhibition not as a final result, but as the beginning of an important and deeply personal process: a garden still taking shape.
